       I am very sorry to inform you that I presently can not afford the application fee. The reasons follow:

　　1. Currently the exchange rate is very high: 8.3RMB = $1.00

　　2. My salary is fairly low: 200 RMB per month.

　　3. the strict limitation in our country to obtain foreign currency, at least in near future.

　　I got relatively high scores in TOEFL (650), GRE (2300) and GRE subject (890, 99%). My undergraduate GPA belongs to upper 5% of 150 Tsinghua Students. I sincerely hope you can consider my situation and review my application.
