接受szmanutd斑竹的建议,开始第二遍刷黄皮阅读,突然发现自己对阅读有了一种新的理解和感受,于是就阅读黄皮书的第一篇短阅读做了笔记,以期和大家交流讨论,同时以此帖表达对szmanutd斑竹的感谢。+ l2 A$ P, g) r[b]不过本人菜鸟一只,欢迎路过大侠们批评指教!这些想法也不成熟,欢迎大家交流讨论!' U) T2 ) u4 M9 l6 d! K' Y6 c[b]我突然发现,GRE阅读中有大量的重复信息和无用信息,我认为这是拖延我们宝贵时间的一大因素![b]$ R6 Y4 K8 J$ D' I这篇文章的五句话:[b]8 Z0 t# W* ~8 s1 r& D: w. D+ FGreat comic art is never otherwordly, it does not seek to mystify us, and it does not deny ambiguity by branding as evil whatever differs from good. [b]: L) A/ S h4 m. x/ M- 这句话其实只表达了一个意思:Great comic art is never otherwordly。后面的两个分句就是耗费时间的重复信息:! C/ M( O# K3 O' z) L# e[b]does not seek to mystify us= never otherwordly0 c! v q7 b( ^6 M. q[b]it does not deny ambiguity…= never otherworldly3 e9 R9 t' n- ^% k6 ~4 @. j[b]这就是把一句话正着说一次,反着说两次,于是乎接受一条信息的时间延长了3倍。[b]* B# l2 l/ B' z& }Great comic artists assume that truth may bear all lights, and thus they seek to accentuate contradictions in social action, not gloss over j7 W: c1 U3 b; N4 x[b]or transcend them by appeals to extrasocial symbols of divine ends, cosmic purpose, or laws of nature.[b]9 _# B; F3 B, ^( P# d和第一句的把戏一样,这句话not后面的半句是对前半句的重复,于是接受信息的时间又长了一倍。[b] O4 }8 O" ]9 U/ t1 d前半句,只要发现assume that truth may bear all lights= never otherwordly,就会发现这条信息给了一个因果关系:[b]) |$ f5 j* J: # r7 K4 y1 G" o6 X∵never otherworldly7 L0 p* E( g- n2 g[b]∴accentuate contradictions in social action$ x. s$ l5 h4 ]% p( u2 s* p, g8 z[b]再换个思维看,是不是accentuate contradictions in social action也是个never otherworldly,于是有因为never otherworldly,所以never otherworldly. M# q1 V( A `$ a( Z[b]一个貌似长难句的东西就是——一句废话!
